Adobe ‘Reader X’ Comes With New Security Advancement

The newly launched Adobe’s next version software “Reader X” comes with a “sandbox” designed to protect users from PDF attacks. It features Protected Mode, a technology that isolates system processes, preventing or hindering malware from escaping the application to wreak havoc on your PC.

According to company official, The initial release of Adobe Reader Protected Mode sandboxes all write calls on Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2003. Future releases will extend the technology to include read-only activities as well.

With the launch of the new Windows Phone 7, the long-running debate about Windows vs.
Mac can now move into the world of mobile operating systems.

Few of the highlighted features of the new WP7 includes: multitouch functions don’t require a stylus,
only certain models of WP7 phones have virtual keyboards instead of physical ones, there’s no
copy-and-paste feature in the initial release, and it doesn’t support Flash or multitasking for third-party apps.
