Adobe ‘Reader X’ Comes With New Security Advancement
The newly launched Adobe’s next version software “Reader X” comes with a “sandbox” designed to protect users from PDF attacks. It features Protected Mode, a technology that isolates system processes, preventing or hindering malware from escaping the application to wreak havoc on your PC.
According to company official, The initial release of Adobe Reader Protected Mode sandboxes all write calls on Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2003. Future releases will extend the technology to include read-only activities as well.
